Called 'Extremes: Contradictions in Contemporary Japan' by a chap called G M Thomas. A great read, with lots of new struff about people and places; stuff you don't read about normally. I found it on amazon japan but a google throws up other sites as well including amazon.co.uk Highly recommended for anyone in Japan.
